In a corner of Bowring Park in the City of St. John’s, there’s a statue called The Fighting Newfoundlander. It embodies the courage, valor, and never-surrender fortitude of those who proudly donned the uniforms of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment. Our team pays homage to that enduring spirit, woven from the fabric of our history. Our ability to hit harder and go longer is legendary, reflecting the reputation of the Regiment during the First World War. We embody the same ethos they once did: courage, pride, and teamwork—both on and off the ice. Just as they inspired a province with their bravery, we strive to inspire with our dedication and passion, carrying forward their legacy every time we take the ice.
